The Good Shepherd's Corner accepts gently used items as consignments or as donations from individuals and family estates. Each item helps us to support our community program for at-risk women called the Acacia Work Program.

HOW IT WORKS

Call (361) 883-0281 to schedule an appointment to bring in the items that you would like to consign or donate.
DELIVER
Bring your items (15 maximum) to The Corner to be priced. Please review the list of items we accept below.
GET PAID
Consignors will receive 50% of the selling price at the time of the sale. The Corner will mail the check to the consignor.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Number of Items
The Corner will accept a maximum of 15 items in a combination of clothes and miscellaneous items per visit.
Miscelleneous Maximum: 5 items
Select a combination of the following:
1 Pair of shoes
1 Purse
1 Wall hanging
5 Pieces of jewelry
5 shelf items (housewares, dishes, small appliances, etc.)
Clothing - Maximum: 10 items
Select a combination from the following:
5 Men's shirts or pant or shorts (seasonal)
5 Men's suits, jackets
5 Ladies/Juniors dresses
3 Ladies tops or skirts or pants or shorts (seasonal)
Seasonal Items
If selling seasonal items, please bring them in the appropriate months listed below.
Spring: February through March
Summer: April through July
Fall: August through September
Winter: October through January
Condition
All items must be clean and in good condition.
Apparel must be laundered or dry cleaned, pressed, on hangers, in the current style. No stains, rips, missing buttons, broken zippers.
Jewelry may not have broken pieces or missing stones.
Furniture & Rugs
Furniture and rug consignments are received by appointment only. Please email photos and dimensions of furniture, as well as your name and number to info@gscornercc.com
The donor or consignor is responsible for delivering the furniture and providing the necessary manpower to load and unload heavy pieces.
Furniture must be clean and in good condition. Not broken, stained or dirty items. No tears, odors, or pet hair.

PRICING

After 60 Days
After 90 Days
The Corner will work with consignors on an agreed upon price based on condition and market value of the item.
Items less than $45 become property of The Corner after 60 days. Items more than $45 will be marked down 35% of original price.
Items more than $45 will be marked down 50% of the original price. Furniture over $45 will become property of The Corner after 90 days.

Consignor checks for merchandise sold during the previous month will be mailed no later than the 10th of the following month unless the amount due to the consignor is less than $5.
CHECKS NOT CASHED WITHIN ONE YEAR OF DATE OF ISSUE WILL NOT BE HONORED AND THE MONIES WILL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF GOOD SHEPHERD’S CORNER.
